Key Responsibilities
- Run the full onboarding journey for new hires, from offer acceptance through the first few weeks, including setup, compliance tasks, and coordination with internal teams.
- Keep employee data accurate by handling a large number of job and record changes in HR systems such as Sequoia and Deel, including onboarding, offboarding, and annual compensation updates.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee questions about benefits, enrollment, payroll, policy, employment verification, and other HR topics.
- Spot workflow bottlenecks and improve recurring processes by creating SOPs, refining request triage, and partnering on HRIS enhancements.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve people operations requests and use employee data to support business questions and decision-making.
- Use AI and operational best practices to automate repetitive administrative tasks while preserving accuracy and a strong employee experience.
What You Need
- 2 to 5 years of experience in human resources, people operations, or a similar area.
- Practical experience with HR systems such as Sequoia One, Deel, Rippling, or comparable platforms.

- Strong ability to work through a high volume of tasks while staying organized and precise.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with comfort working across technical and business teams in remote and in-person settings.
- A history of improving processes, whether through workflow simplification, better request handling, or creating new SOPs.
- Good judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive employee information.
- Comfort working in a fast-changing environment where priorities may shift and solutions require thoughtful tradeoff analysis.
- A service-first mindset with a focus on responsive, high-quality support for employees.
