People Ops at Krea
This is a foundational, 0-1 role within a compact team, offering the unique opportunity to establish the entire people operations function from the ground up. You will be instrumental in creating the necessary systems, developing robust processes, and overseeing all aspects that ensure the smooth operation and growth of our team.
What you'll do:
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from initial onboarding through to offboarding and all stages in between.
- Administer payroll and manage HR operations for our global workforce, utilizing platforms such as Gusto and Deel.
- Establish and maintain efficient recruiting operations, including ATS configuration, sourcing strategy development, interview coordination, and on-site logistics.
- Continuously refine hiring workflows and implement new tools to enhance the quality of candidate assessment, expedite the hiring process, and ensure scalability.
- Manage employee benefits administration, process visa applications, and develop essential policy documentation.
- Ensure the accuracy and currency of employee data across all relevant systems.
Who we're looking for:
We seek an individual with 1-3 years of experience in people operations, HR, or recruiting operations, preferably within a dynamic startup environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing responsibilities from inception to completion. A passion for building systems from scratch, rather than maintaining existing ones, is highly valued.
Strong candidates may have experience with:
- Payroll and HR platforms like Gusto, Deel, or comparable systems.
- Establishing or managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Supporting recruitment operations, including scheduling, coordination, and pipeline management.
- Working in early-stage or high-growth startup settings.
