Job description
Position Overview
Clinch is hiring a detail-oriented, self-starting People Operations Manager who is passionate about supporting employees and building strong workplace experiences. Reporting to the Director of People & Business Operations, this position contributes to recruiting, employee experience, office operations, and HR programs that help the team perform at its best as the company expands.
People Operations
- Act as a reliable point of contact for employees with questions about policies, benefits, workplace programs, and other work-related matters.
- Run and keep current People Operations workflows, records, systems, communications, compensation support, performance management, compliance work, reporting, people analytics, and other employee-life-cycle processes.
- Coordinate the full onboarding process, including scheduling, communication, system access, welcome assets, and the first-day experience.
- Work with the Director of People & Business Operations on HR initiatives, special assignments, organizational planning, and company-wide programs.
Talent Acquisition
- Support recruiting across several open roles by handling sourcing, applicant tracking system administration, candidate communication, interview coordination, phone screens, and the overall candidate journey.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to help new hires integrate smoothly after joining.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Drive engagement, recognition, and culture efforts that improve connection, teamwork, and the day-to-day employee experience.
- Organize company events, team-building activities, Cultural Club initiatives, onboarding events, milestone celebrations, and employee appreciation programs.
- Assist with internal communications such as HR updates, newsletters, HiBob posts, Slack announcements, and company-wide messages.
- Partner with leaders to support an inclusive, positive culture across global teams.
Workplace Operations
- Manage daily office operations, including facilities, workplace services, vendor coordination, office supplies, building management, compliance needs, and employee support.
- Handle relationships with workplace vendors and service providers to maintain a smooth employee experience.
- Keep the office organized, welcoming, and ready for both employees and visitors.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, Employee Experience, Recruiting, Office Management, or a similar function.
- Prior experience in a fast-moving startup, technology, or digital media setting is preferred.
- Strong planning and project coordination skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset, process improvement ability, and success managing projects from planning through delivery.
- Comfort using HRIS, ATS, collaboration, and productivity platforms such as HiBob, Rippling, Spark Hire/Comeet, LinkedIn Recruiter, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Strong accuracy, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively across teams and leadership levels.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $67,000 to $80,000 per year.
Additional Information
This position is based in New York, NY and is an on-site full-time role.
