Job description
Role overview
We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Transformation Lead to support the next stage of change for a financial services business in Sydney. This is a high-profile, business-facing appointment where you will work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to move forward people, process, governance, and operating model initiatives.
As part of a compact People & Culture team, you will contribute across a wide transformation agenda in an environment that is still developing. The role calls for someone who can create structure, bring clarity, and keep momentum moving in a complex setting.
Engagement details
- Location: Sydney CBD
- Work setup: On-site, 5 days in the office
- Contract term: 6-month fixed-term contract
- Start: Immediate start preferred
- Availability: Candidates available now or with a short notice period will be looked upon favourably
- Indicative package: Approximately $265,000 FTE, pro-rated for the contract period
What this role involves
You will operate across transformation, change, and delivery work, helping to shape frameworks, refine ways of working, and support the organisation through a period of transition. The position requires someone comfortable moving between strategic thinking and practical execution while influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
Experience and capability sought
The successful candidate will bring strong People & Culture or HR generalist/HRBP experience, along with a background in transformation and program delivery. Experience in mergers and acquisitions integration is essential. The business operates in a regulated environment, so exposure to financial services, banking, insurance, wealth, or a similarly governed sector is important.
You will need to be confident engaging senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and translating complexity into workable approaches. The role suits a pragmatic, commercially minded leader who is comfortable building structure where little exists and who can deliver outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
