Role overview
Dimension HR is hiring on behalf of a client for a Payroll Specialist in Tirana, Albania. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, compliance, and efficient payroll execution are essential.
This position suits professionals with solid hands-on experience in payroll administration, compensation and benefits, tax handling, and HR operations.
Key responsibilities
- Run the payroll process end to end, making sure employee pay is processed accurately and on schedule.
- Administer salary deductions, incentive payments, employee benefits, and tax-related withholdings.
- Apply labor regulations, payroll rules, and tax obligations correctly at all times.
- Keep employee payroll data current and properly maintained in HRIS tools.
- Respond to payroll questions and quickly sort out any discrepancies or issues.
- Generate payroll-related reports and assist with internal audits and review processes.
Requirements
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and payroll administration.
- Good understanding of payroll compliance, tax rules, and labor law requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with payroll or HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, Gusto, or equivalent systems.
