For this position, you would join the payroll team and help ensure that remuneration is processed accurately, reliably and in a modern way for employees.

What the role involves
- Managing the monthly payroll process independently, including maintaining master data and running the final payroll in SAP HCM.
- Preparing analyses and reports while keeping an eye on key payroll figures and indicators.
- Supporting payroll-related projects and contributing ideas to improve and streamline internal processes.
- Acting as a specialist contact for wage tax and social security matters.
- Communicating with health insurance providers, public authorities and external partners.
- Handling certificates and notifications in a careful and professional manner.
- Managing special payroll topics such as company cars and wage garnishments.
- Participating in monthly and annual closing tasks, including the formation of personnel provisions.
- Serving as a point of contact for employees and managers on all payroll-related questions.
Profile and requirements
The ideal candidate has completed a commercial apprenticeship, for example as a tax clerk, and brings several years of experience in payroll accounting. Strong knowledge of tax law and social security law is required. Experience with SAP HCM is preferred. The role also calls for confidence in preparing reports and analyses, and ideally in building accruals or provisions. Good command of MS Office, especially Excel, is important. A structured and independent way of working, along with strong team spirit, rounds out the profile.
