Role overview
The Klinikum Bad Salzungen GmbH is looking to hire a payroll specialist as soon as possible for a full-time, on-site position in Bad Salzungen, Thuringia.
Your responsibilities
- Run the monthly payroll for the organization’s different accounting entities in line with the applicable provisions of the TVöD-K public service collective agreement.
- Maintain employee master data, absence records, and variable payroll information in the LOGA payroll system.
- Calculate and process pay for duty assignments, sickness-related pay, and vacation settlement payments.
- Handle wage assignments and garnishments.
- Determine social insurance coverage requirements.
- Process pension-related matters.
- Manage reporting and certification requirements.
- Monitor working time accounts and staff schedules in the ATOSS scheduling system.
- Support year-end closing work, including the calculation of personnel-related provisions.
- Act as a point of contact for employees with questions about payroll and salary statements.

What you should bring
- Completed commercial training or qualification.
- Solid experience in payroll and compensation administration, along with knowledge of TVöD labor law.
- Confident use of workplace software, especially MS Excel; experience with LOGA by P&I and ATOSS is preferred.
- Professional, approachable manner when dealing with the public and authorities.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines.
- Independent, target-oriented work style with strong organizational skills.
- Assertiveness, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility.
