Role overview
Gama is seeking a Payroll Specialist to handle payroll operations with a high level of accuracy, discretion, and care. This position suits someone who has hands-on experience in payroll processing and compensation administration, and who can work effectively with HR and Finance to ensure payroll is completed on time and in line with company and regulatory requirements.
The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Human Resources department. It is open to junior to experienced professionals.

What you'll do
- Run the monthly payroll cycle accurately and ensure all payments are completed within required deadlines.
- Keep payroll records up to date, including changes in salary, allowances, deductions, and employee benefits.
- Check attendance, overtime, leave, and other payroll-related inputs before processing.
- Work with the Finance team to verify and reconcile payroll data.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end closing activities.
- Respond to employee questions related to payroll and resolve discrepancies when they arise.
- Calculate and process final settlements and end-of-service payments correctly.
- Make sure payroll practices follow internal policies and legal/statutory requirements.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all payroll information.
- Coordinate with HR Operations on changes that affect payroll.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in payroll.
- Native-level Arabic proficiency and strong spoken and written English.
- Proven, mandatory experience working with Microsoft Dynamics.
- Exposure to MenaPay is an advantage.
- Ability to report to the HR Manager and collaborate closely with Finance.
