Role overview
In this position, you will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing for the company’s entities, while ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and internal rules. The role also covers a broad range of payroll administration and employee support tasks, with close coordination across HR, finance, public authorities, and social insurance bodies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage monthly payroll runs for the assigned companies, making sure processing is completed on schedule and in line with all applicable legal, collective agreement, and company requirements.
- Prepare employment-related documents such as contracts and reference letters, and maintain personnel files along with the personnel archive.
- Support employees and managers on payroll matters as well as questions related to labor law, wage tax, and social security.
- Act as the main contact for health insurance providers, social security institutions, and public authorities, including handling certificates and reporting obligations.
- Compile and reconcile data for accounting purposes, including salary postings and personnel provisions.
- Review changing payroll requirements and implement necessary adjustments, such as those resulting from legal updates.
- Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training and several years of experience in payroll accounting or HR administration.
- Sound knowledge of current employment law, wage tax rules, and social security regulations.
- Very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Good command of HR administration and payroll systems, ideally SAP HCM or P&I Loga.
- High level of commitment, service orientation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and resilience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and strong problem-solving skills.
- Interest in and enthusiasm for digital HR transformation.
