Job description
Role Overview
This is an opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented payroll professional to support payroll operations across Australia and New Zealand. The position offers genuine flexibility and suits someone who wants meaningful work in a growing business.
The role can be performed on either a full-time or part-time basis. The workplace arrangement is listed as hybrid from the Eight Mile Plains office, while the job itself is based in Brisbane, Queensland.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running payroll from start to finish, including mid-month pay cycles, payroll changes, off-cycle payments and final payments for departing employees.
- Keeping employee and payroll information accurate, such as new hires, pay adjustments, allowances and deductions.
- Handling payroll questions and giving prompt, accurate support to staff, managers and other internal teams.
- Preparing payroll reports, account reconciliations and general ledger journals for Finance and leadership.
- Supporting Single Touch Payroll submissions, end-of-financial-year reconciliations and payroll tax lodgements.
- Assisting with superannuation, novated lease and fringe benefits tax reporting.
- Helping with WorkCover renewals and other workplace reporting tasks.
- Contributing to payroll projects, acquisitions, process refinements and system upgrades.

- At least 2 years of payroll experience.
- Strong accuracy skills and confidence working with payroll data, reconciliations and reporting.
- A hands-on approach to problem solving and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers and stakeholders.
- Experience using MicrOpay and/or iPayroll will be considered an advantage.
