About the Role
A prominent organization is looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their established team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid work following a successful probationary period.
Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle for multiple clients with diverse pay frequencies. You will serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing to meet all deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing for various clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for client payroll-related queries.
- Ensure all payrolls are processed accurately and within strict deadlines.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex, end-to-end payroll operations.
- In-depth understanding of UK payroll regulations, including HMRC, PAYE, National Insurance, pension schemes, and statutory payments.
- Proven ability to interact with clients, addressing their day-to-day payroll questions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel, comfortable handling large datasets and varied payroll schedules.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Attributes
- Possession of a CIPP qualification (Foundation or Diploma level).
- Previous experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice setting.
