Role overview
Computershare New Zealand is hiring a Payments & Settlements Officer for the Corporate Services Payments team in Auckland. This position focuses on processing investor payments on behalf of clients, making sure work is completed accurately, within strict deadlines, and to high quality standards.
You will work with colleagues across different teams, contribute to ongoing improvement efforts, and take part in project-related tasks connected to the role.
Working arrangement
This role is based in the Auckland office. You will be expected to work from the office at least three days each week, with the option to work from home for part of your week under the company’s flexible working model.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the daily processing of payments to investors in line with agreed timelines and accuracy requirements.
- Maintain understanding of different payment types and the related system settings and rules.
- Identify and reduce possible operational or processing risks.
- Contribute ideas and actions that support continuous business improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams and outside parties such as clients, banks, and NZClear.
