Role overview
This position sits within the Finance & Accounting function at a luxury hospitality property in Ummahat Island 1, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. It is a full-time, non-management role focused on maintaining accurate financial records, handling billings and reconciliations, and supporting period-end closing activities.
Key accountabilities
- Review figures, entries, and supporting documents carefully to confirm accuracy.
- Maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in line with company policies and procedures.
- Enter, organize, retrieve, and analyze computerized financial data as needed.
- Sort, code, summarize, and compile financial information using journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
- Prepare and maintain statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports and schedules.
- Carry out period-end closing tasks and produce related reports within the required timeline.
- Prepare, check, reconcile, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements according to internal procedures.
- Track overdue receivables and unpaid vendor invoices until they are settled or otherwise resolved.
- Work with other departments to coordinate tasks and keep work moving smoothly.
- Serve as a dependable team example and support the completion of assigned tasks on time and to the required standard.
- Report workplace accidents or injuries to a supervisor immediately.
- Follow all company rules and procedures, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
- Communicate professionally, including handling phone calls and preparing written documents accurately.
- Build positive working relationships and help the team reach shared goals.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
Working conditions
This is a full-time position. The role is marked as not remote, so it is expected to be performed onsite in Saudi Arabia. The position is classified as non-management.
