Role overview

The Partnerships Relationship Manager will help build and run SpotOn’s partner-facing sales and enablement motion. This position works across partnership, sales, sales operations, and marketing to grow revenue from partner channels and create value for Strategic Referral Partners. The role reports to the Manager, Strategic Partnerships.

What the role involves

  • Create and refine strategies that increase partner engagement, referral activity, and revenue contribution.
  • Work with partner sales teams on lead sharing, joint selling, co-branded campaigns, and other sales support efforts.
  • Train strategic referral partner sales teams on the benefits of SpotOn’s restaurant technology platform.
  • Develop trusted working relationships across partner organizations, including frontline teams, managers, and senior leaders.
  • Partner with marketing and enablement teams to create collateral and resources that help educate partners and support sales.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations on lead management, assignment, speed-to-lead, and tracking processes.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned partner networks and ecosystems that support revenue goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve processes, build sales-support materials, and launch targeted training and marketing programs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and data records.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for partner-related questions within the sales organization.
  • Plan and execute partner events, conferences, trade shows, workshops, webinars, and educational sessions, including follow-up actions.
  • Build strategic growth plans for partnerships, run regular business reviews, and assess performance metrics.
  • Manage several partnership initiatives at once while keeping timelines, deliverables, and communications on track.
  • Stay informed about market challenges, customer needs, best practices, and technology trends to support ongoing innovation.

Minimum qualifications

  • Strong project management and organizational ability, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Comfort presenting to audiences ranging from frontline sales teams to senior leadership.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and pull out the most important insights.
  • Willingness to travel as much as 60% of the time.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • At least 5 years of experience in partnership management and account management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and customer success, either inside or outside sales.
  • Background in planning and delivering events, training, or partner enablement programs.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; Bachelor’s preferred.

Working conditions

  • In-office work may require sitting for at least half of the day.
  • Trade show work may involve standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Role may require twisting, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of office equipment up to 40 pounds.

Compensation and benefits

The compensation package includes location-based base pay, bonus eligibility, and may include equity depending on role eligibility. Final offers will reflect the candidate’s location, qualifications, and experience.

  • San Francisco tier: $81K–$101K plus bonus.
  • Chicago tier: $77K–$96K plus bonus.
