Job description

Overview

Recrewts is hiring a seasoned recruiter to run video interviews for professional and executive roles across a broad mix of industries. This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity for someone who enjoys interviewing, evaluating talent, and working closely with hiring teams, while avoiding sourcing, business development, and full-desk recruiting responsibilities.

The role begins at roughly 2 to 3 hours per day and may expand as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead video interviews for candidates across multiple sectors and functions, including executive, operations, sales, finance, marketing, healthcare, and technology positions.
  • Study job details, resumes, and screening materials before each interview.
  • Use strong follow-up questions and adjust your interview approach based on candidate responses.
  • Evaluate qualifications, communication ability, motivation, and overall fit for the role.
  • Prepare clear written summaries with observations and hiring recommendations.
  • Ensure each candidate has a polished, professional, and engaging interview experience.
  • Coordinate interview timing using a shared scheduling calendar.

Ideal Candidate

The company is looking for a recruiter with at least 5 years of experience, ideally in an agency or executive search setting. You should be a confident interviewer with excellent communication skills, strong business judgment, and the ability to understand unfamiliar industries and job types quickly. Comfort on camera and the ability to handle several video interviews a day are important.

Nice to Have

  • Background in executive search.
  • Prior agency recruiting experience.
  • Exposure to recruiting across several industries and functions.
  • Experience preparing detailed candidate write-ups or interview reports.

Compensation

Pay is expected to be around $40 per hour, depending on experience.
