Job description
Role overview
This is a part-time recruiting contract with a fully remote setup. The position is available immediately and is expected to run for at least 6 months. Work hours are 20 per week, typically spread across 4 or 5 days, and the schedule follows East Coast hours. The recruiting work will span HR, sales, executive-level roles, and some technical positions.
Key responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end hiring activities from the first intake discussion through sourcing, screening, interviews, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, target candidate profiles, and recruiting timelines.
- Find and engage suitable candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
- Run phone and video screenings to evaluate experience, qualifications, and fit with the team.
- Set up interviews, collect interviewer feedback, and help guide hiring decisions.
- Draft and communicate offers in coordination with HR and business partners.
- Keep applicant tracking records current and accurate.
- Support a smooth and professional candidate journey from first contact through hire.
- Assist with hiring priorities such as growth roles, replacement hires, and urgent openings as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience.
- Strong capability in sourcing candidates and conducting screening conversations.
- Comfort managing several open roles at once in a busy environment.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting/job posting tools.
- Clear communication skills and strong organization.
- Able to work on your own while also partnering effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Careful attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
