Role Overview
In this position, you will serve as a Patient Recruitment Representative, reaching out to panelists and encouraging them to take part in clinical research studies. You will review medical history and study-specific criteria, coordinate appointments, and manage changes to upcoming or current research schedules. The role calls for strong customer service, a professional phone presence, practical problem-solving ability, and a willingness to support team recruiting targets. For in-person screening work, conflict resolution skills are important, along with the interpersonal skills needed to guide teammates when help is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to possible panelists from the panelist database, explain the company’s work, discuss relevant studies, collect preliminary participation details, and secure interest in joining studies.
- Gather information from individuals to expand the company’s prospective panelist database.
- Monitor and maintain subgroup needs for assigned studies, including rescheduling or canceling appointments when criteria change and refining database leads to match study requirements.
- Prepare routine updates on personal deliverables as requested by management.
- Share study-related issues and work toward resolving them.
- Partner with teammates to help complete recruitment goals and study enrollment.
- Take part in company marketing activities aimed at attracting potential panelists from time to time.
- Deliver consistently strong customer service to panelists while maintaining positive working relationships with peers and supervisors.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by the Recruiting Manager or Recruiting Supervisor.
- Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
- For roles involving face-to-face interaction after screening or follow-up visits, provide panelists with an escalation contact, helpful service, and rescheduling support.
- Coordinate with Principal Investigators and clinic staff to understand why applicants were disqualified and share insights with recruiting teams to improve future group selection.
- Support the recruiting team with basic knowledge of clinical grading.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of telecommunication experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Three years of telecommunication experience is preferred.
- Two years of moderate to advanced problem-solving experience is preferred.
- Project management experience is preferred.
