Quizard is a quiz platform designed to help teams, events, and social gatherings run interactive games and gather useful feedback. The company is looking for remote frontend interns in Nigeria to support the development of its web application.
Role overview
This internship is focused on building and improving user-facing web experiences while working alongside experienced developers. The role involves using modern frontend tools and contributing to the quality, functionality, and maintainability of the product.
Responsibilities
- Work with the development team to build, test, and release web applications.
- Create and update user interfaces with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Use Cypress and Storybook to write tests and help maintain code quality.
- Build and connect REST API integrations with backend services.
- Take part in code reviews, design conversations, and team meetings.
- Keep learning new tools and practices to stay current with evolving frontend technologies.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area.
- Working familiarity with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Cypress, Storybook, and Redux Toolkit.
- Understanding of REST APIs and how they connect with backend systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to changing tools and requirements.
