Role Overview

As the Paid Ads Manager at Bmedia, you will take charge of digital advertising across the company and its client accounts. Your focus will be to plan, launch, refine, and scale paid media campaigns across search and social channels, with an emphasis on profitable growth and strong return on ad spend.

This role involves handling campaign strategy, creative input, and performance analysis for as many as 20 clients at once. Success in the position means making sure advertising budgets are used wisely, results remain measurable, and campaigns continue to deliver strong business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, launch, and oversee paid media campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, and similar platforms.
  • Create and experiment with ad copy, creative concepts, and offers so they align with each brand’s voice and goals.
  • Review campaign metrics each day to confirm spending is efficient and performance targets are being met.
  • Work closely with the creative team to shape ad visuals, video edits, and messaging direction.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports that highlight performance trends, optimization actions, and return on investment.
  • Coordinate several client accounts at the same time while maintaining responsiveness and a high standard of work.
  • Set up, monitor, and interpret conversion tracking through Meta Pixel, GA4, and other analytics tools.
  • Keep current with platform policy updates, algorithm shifts, and new ad formats.

Experience and Technical Requirements

  • At least 2 years of direct experience running paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads.
  • A proven record of improving ROAS, reducing CPA, and scaling campaigns efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of campaign architecture, audience targeting, and conversion tracking.
  • Ability to study performance data and turn it into practical optimization decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, Meta Pixel, and UTM setup.
  • Comfort managing multiple campaigns or client accounts in parallel.
  • Good knowledge of ad policy compliance, especially across Meta and Google.
  • Strong writing ability for headlines, descriptions, and calls to action.
  • Good visual marketing sense and the ability to evaluate effective marketing creatives.
  • Excellent organization, detail orientation, and time management.
  • Strong teamwork skills for collaborating with design, content, and strategy colleagues.
  • Clear written and spoken communication for updates and reporting to clients.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior work with hospitality, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands, especially for the Australian market.
  • Ability to brief or create ad creative using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with creative testing methods, including hook, offer, and CTA variations, as well as ad storytelling.
  • Experience in a marketing or creative agency environment.
  • Confidence in reading Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads dashboards beyond basic metrics.
  • Basic video editing capability, such as using CapCut, to adapt assets for better performance.
  • Understanding of email and SMS retargeting flows using tools like Klaviyo or GoHighLevel for full-funnel alignment.
  • Comfort presenting campaign results and strategic recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders.

Working Style and Team Culture

Bmedia operates with a remote-friendly, async-first approach and values creativity, open communication, and ongoing learning. The company prefers small, high-impact teams over large hierarchies and supports growth through weekly workshops and one-on-one training.

  • Weekly training sessions
  • Two bi-annual week-long breaks
