Role overview

Richport Technology is hiring a Packer in Singapore for a full-time, on-site role. The position focuses on maintaining product quality, supporting safe production practices, keeping records accurate, and helping the team keep operations running smoothly.

Quality control

  • Carry out quality checks so finished goods align with company requirements and customer expectations.
  • Escalate any variance from the expected standard to the supervisor and follow the recommended corrective steps.
  • Support process enhancement efforts that improve product consistency and production output.

Safety and compliance

  • Follow all workplace safety rules and procedures to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment when needed and handle machines and materials in line with safety instructions.
  • Join safety training activities and promptly report hazards or incidents to the supervisor.

Documentation and reporting

  • Keep detailed and correct records of production work, including machine settings, quantities produced, and any issues observed.
  • Prepare production reports and other documentation requested by the supervisor.
  • Help track inventory records for materials and supplies consumed in production.

Collaboration and teamwork

  • Coordinate with production operators, technicians, and supervisors to support an efficient workflow.
  • Communicate clearly with teammates to organize tasks, exchange updates, and resolve production-related concerns.
  • Take part in team discussions and contribute suggestions to improve efficiency and processes.

Housekeeping

  • Maintain a tidy, organized work area to support safe and effective operations.
  • Clean machinery, tools, and equipment regularly to reduce contamination risk and keep them functioning properly.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures and environmental requirements.

Continuous improvement

  • Participate in improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing practices, to raise productivity and reduce waste.
  • Share practical feedback with supervisors and offer ideas that can improve processes, equipment performance, and safety.
