About the Role
BTSE is expanding its institutional OTC sales function to serve professional and high-volume crypto clients. In this role, you will be the first contact for incoming OTC opportunities, helping qualify interest and enabling the Institutional Sales team to move deals forward.
This opportunity is well suited to someone seeking practical exposure to institutional crypto trading along with a pathway into more senior sales responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and connect with potential OTC clients across targeted regions and channels.
- Run early-stage discovery conversations to learn about a client’s background, trading requirements, and settlement setup.
- Build organized client profiles and assist with onboarding preparation.
- Pass qualified opportunities to the Institutional Sales team and support the transition during initial engagement.
- Keep CRM and other internal records accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure leads progress smoothly into active client relationships.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales development, fintech, payments, or crypto.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with solid commercial judgment.
- Confidence engaging professional and institutional-level clients.
- A methodical, dependable, and detail-focused working style.
- High motivation, curiosity, and an eagerness to develop within the institutional crypto market.
