Job description
About the Company
This role is being hired on behalf of a well-established multinational business in the automotive sector. The position is an exciting hybrid of order fulfilment, supply chain coordination, customer relationship management, business analysis, and sales support, with regional exposure across Asia.
Customer & Distributor Management
- Act as the main contact for distributor accounts in the region, helping ensure part availability, a strong customer experience, and solid business outcomes.
- Keep customers informed on inventory movements, shipment progress, and any operational disruptions, while setting clear and realistic expectations.
- Be prepared to travel around once a month within the region to strengthen distributor relationships, review business performance, and better understand local market needs.
Supply Chain & Operations
- Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and order fulfilment teams to support on-time delivery and healthy stock positions.
- Track customer ordering patterns, inventory movement, and fulfilment performance to spot opportunities that can improve both sales and supply chain effectiveness.
- Take part in process enhancement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and raising service quality.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use SAP and Microsoft Excel to review sales, inventory, and operational information and turn it into actionable business insights.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for regional leadership discussions and business reviews.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, customer service, sales operations, or commercial support roles.
- Good understanding of the full supply chain lifecycle, including order processing, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
- Practical experience using SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical ability, clear communication skills, and confidence in managing stakeholders across borders.
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to solve problems independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally approximately once per month.
