Role overview

The company is hiring an energetic OPT Recruiter to support US staffing efforts by sourcing, screening, and placing OPT/CPT candidates. This role is based in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and preference will be given to candidates from Vijayawada and Eluru. Applicants with around 5+ years of experience are preferred.

What you'll do

• Find and engage OPT/CPT candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, university connections, and professional networking platforms.
• Build and maintain a steady candidate pool for OPT, CPT, and STEM OPT profiles.
• Evaluate applicants by reviewing technical fit, communication skills, and work authorization eligibility.
• Arrange and coordinate interviews with account managers and vendors.
• Keep candidate records updated and stay in touch with consultants about upcoming project opportunities.
• Explain the US job market, visa-related processes, and placement pathways to candidates.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to support successful placements.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, CRM entries, and other hiring documentation accurately.
• Develop and sustain relationships with universities, student groups, and training institutes.

Required profile

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline is needed.
• Strong spoken and written English communication is essential.
• Some familiarity with US staffing and OPT/CPT hiring is preferred.
• Prior experience in OPT recruitment or US IT staffing will be an advantage.
• Good people skills and the ability to network effectively are important.
• The candidate should be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, LinkedIn, and recruiting tools/platforms is expected.

Preferred candidate profile

Applicants living in Vijayawada or Eluru are preferred. Candidates with prior OPT recruitment experience will be strongly favored.
