Role overview

An opportunity is open in the AMICTOHO Titanium Metal Company for an Operator, Crushing position based in Yanbu. This role is part of the titanium sponge production flow and involves running the crushing stage within defined operating limits, tracking production activity, maintaining quality standards, and recording routine operational information.

Key duties

• Oversee the crushing stage and keep track of every part of the production flow.
• Inspect sponge cake visually as part of the process control checks.
• Support shipment packing and preparation activities.
• Use the rough cutting press effectively and safely.
• Run the process in line with approved operating procedures.
• Watch the process closely, identify warning signs early, and respond before issues escalate.
• Check equipment performance and prepare machinery for maintenance according to procedure.
• Follow quality requirements to protect product standards.
• Share equipment and process concerns with team members.
• Record equipment or process failures for further review and analysis.
• Work with the wider team to identify and assess improvements that could strengthen process performance, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate daily shift work with the shift supervisor.
• Keep detailed exception and incident records, along with supporting notes.
• Follow the ATTM Metals Sponge handbook, as well as plant rules and operating procedures.
• Operate crane, hoist, and forklift equipment when needed for the job.
• Carry out safe electrical supply operation and recovery steps when required.
• Maintain safe working practices and good 5S housekeeping standards at all times.
• Handle production data, safety documentation, training-related records, and production planning tasks as part of general plant management.

Qualifications and experience

A diploma is required, along with at least 1 year of experience.

Skills and knowledge

The role calls for strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, plus working knowledge of MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
