Role Overview
The company is hiring an HR Associate to support courier-facing people operations in a global tech setting. The role calls for someone empathetic, detail-oriented, curious, and eager to contribute to a smooth employee experience through technology, collaboration, and strong process execution.
You will handle important parts of the employee journey, including performance-related support, compliance work, documentation, and daily HR operations. The position requires someone who can balance strategic support with practical administrative work, while always keeping service quality and fairness in mind.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a dependable HR contact for couriers across Germany, answering general HR questions, performance-related queries, and routine employee requests.
- Support the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, exit processes, contract updates, document handling, and leave administration.
- Help maintain compliance by organizing, reviewing, and auditing personnel documentation.
- Keep HR records accurate and complete by spotting data issues and following up on missing details.
- Work closely with Payroll to help ensure salaries are processed correctly and on time.
- Contribute ideas and actions that improve HR workflows and the overall employee service experience.
- Use AI tools independently to support automation, efficiency, and smarter ways of working.
- Approach every task with ownership, empathy, curiosity, and a hands-on mindset.
What the Employer Is Looking For
The ideal candidate has completed a commercial vocational training program, ideally with additional HR certification or relevant hands-on experience. A basic grasp of GDPR and labor law is also expected.
Strong communication skills are important: English should be fluent in writing and speaking, and German should be at least at B2 level, with C1 preferred.
You should bring a service-focused attitude, strong digital skills, and comfort working with HR systems. Experience with AI tools, automation, HRIS, or Workday is helpful but not mandatory.
The role also requires someone who is structured, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with different teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with tools such as Zoom, DocuSign, Google Workspace, or Monday.com is an advantage.
A curious, growth-oriented mindset and the motivation to keep developing HR and operational expertise are highly valued.
Work Setup
This is an office-based role with a hybrid schedule. Presence in the office is required three days per week, and two days can be worked from home.
