Online Language Tutor

About the role

GoGoABC is seeking enthusiastic and experienced language tutors to deliver tailored one-to-one online lessons to learners around the world. The role focuses on helping students improve their language skills through personalized support and flexible, independent teaching arrangements.

What you will do

You will assess each learner's current language level before classes begin and coordinate lesson timings in advance. Based on the student's goals and learning needs, you will prepare customized lesson plans and provide live feedback during sessions. As an independent contractor, you can choose your own timetable and set your own hourly rate. Lessons are delivered from home, with no location-based restrictions.

Requirements

Candidates should have a clear, easy-to-understand accent that works well for a global audience. A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, along with a language-teaching qualification such as TESOL, TEFL, or an equivalent credential. If you teach more than one language, separate teaching certificates for each language are needed. You should also be comfortable using online teaching tools and video conferencing software, and have prior teaching or tutoring experience; experience in an international school setting is preferred.
