Job Description

As a Tech Solutions Specialist Expert at Noel Leeming, you will be instrumental in providing end-to-end service to our customers. This involves delivering live demonstrations, offering expert advice and support, and managing the delivery and installation of purchases. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, customer-centric, and driven to enhance the customer experience. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is a proactive and dedicated work ethic.

This position is based at our Mt Maunganui Noel Leeming store, requiring a commitment of 45 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License is mandatory for this field-based role, enabling you to operate a company vehicle. You must also have unrestricted legal work authorization in New Zealand for at least 24 months.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Experience in installing and setting up technology such as WiFi, TVs, PCs, and audio systems. Training will be provided for the right applicant.
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, with excellent communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• The physical capability to handle heavy lifting, use ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Additional beneficial skills include:

• Proficiency with Apple OS/iOS.
• Previous experience in IT support roles for schools, enterprises, or SMEs.
• Knowledge of device management.
• Familiarity with software such as Jamf, Google Admin, and/or Microsoft Admin.
