Role Overview
This is an on-site position in the OMEGA Workshop at the Richmond Head Office.
Key Duties
- Carry out battery changes, pressure checks, and replacements of bracelets or straps.
- Test water resistance in accordance with OMEGA technical requirements.
- Assess and adjust movement rate, beat error, amplitude, and magnetism.
- Carefully remove cases and dismantle watches and case-related components.
- Clean cases, bracelets, and watch parts using ultrasonic equipment.
- Replace components such as seals, crowns, pushers, batteries, spring bars, pins, and tubes.
- Reassemble watches so they meet precision and water-resistance expectations.
- Complete movement exchange work following OMEGA procedures.
- Perform quality checks to maintain premium service standards.
- Work with team members to streamline processes and reduce turnaround delays.
- Manage daily priorities effectively while delivering accurate work and strong productivity.
Skills and Experience
- Completion of a watchmaking apprenticeship course, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in a watchmaking environment.
- Experience handling full movement exchanges for quartz and mechanical watches is preferred.
- Background in case preparation, dismantling, and quality control is an advantage.
- Ability to organise and manage your own workload while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
- Working knowledge of computers, SAP or a similar ERP platform, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- High level of accuracy and close attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong planning, organisation, and time-management abilities.
- Comfort handling several tasks at once.
