About the Opportunity
Our esteemed offshore vessel owner fleet is urgently seeking dedicated professionals for multiple key roles based in Ghana. Successful candidates will represent the vessel owner’s interests and report to the Cyprus Ship Management Team.
Available Roles and Qualifications
- Technical Manager: Must possess Marine 2nd Engineer credentials or equivalent tanker vessel experience.
- Operations Manager: Requires Marine 2nd Officer qualification or similar tanker vessel background.
- Technical Support Officer: Open to Graduate Engineers with marine-related qualifications; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Technical Manager duties include overseeing vessel technical operations, liaising with vessel master and crew, managing procurement of spare parts and stores, coordinating Class and Flag surveys, analyzing vessel daily performance reports, and overseeing Planned Maintenance Software operations, all while receiving comprehensive support from the vessel management company on behalf of owners.
- Operations Manager responsibilities involve guiding crews during cargo operations to ensure safety and best practices, coordinating maritime operational matters with vessel personnel and management, managing Class and Flag surveys, including Documentation of Compliance and audits, and overseeing safety management while acting as Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
- Technical Support Officer tasks include assisting with daily fleet paperwork in coordination with Technical and Operations Managers, arranging spares and stores deliveries to vessels, preparing daily reports from vessel data, and performing additional support duties as needed by management.
