Role overview
INSEAD is hiring an Officer, Admissions to join the Degree Programmes department at its Asia Campus in Singapore. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid schedule of three days on campus and two days working from home.
The Degree Programmes team supports INSEAD’s MBA, EMBA, and specialised Master’s and Executive Master’s offerings. The group brings together admissions, career development, student life, and programme management to attract strong candidates, support their development, and help deliver a high-quality learning experience in a global setting.
About the role
The Admissions Officer is a key contact for applicants and manages the candidate relationship from the moment an application is submitted through to campus registration. The role involves providing timely, accurate processing of applications while offering responsive, approachable, and professional guidance to candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for applicants and guide them through every stage of the admissions process.
- Handle candidate data collection and verification, including admission test results, language credentials, legal paperwork, and other required documents.
- Work closely with the Degree Programmes Admissions team to deliver a smooth and positive applicant experience.
- Coordinate and support campus visits for prospective candidates and admitted students.
- Support retention and diversity initiatives, including efforts to increase female participation and assist with onboarding-related events and activities.
Candidate profile
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or operational role within an international setting.
- Strong customer service mindset and a genuine service orientation.
- Very good English communication skills, both spoken and written, including listening.
- Comfort working in a team and collaborating across cultures.
- Well-developed organisational ability, multitasking skills, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Resourceful problem-solver who can take initiative and work across teams.
- Careful, detail-focused approach to work.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Working arrangement
This role follows a hybrid model, with three days per week on campus and two days working remotely from home.
