Job description
Role Overview
This is a full-time, entry-level to junior position based in Australia. The role is aimed at someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable keeping daily business activities running smoothly. You will provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to different teams so the organization can maintain efficiency, productivity, and strong internal service delivery.
If you enjoy structuring work, assisting multiple stakeholders, and thriving in a busy environment, this role may be a strong fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day administrative and operational support to departments and individual team members.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Draft, arrange, and keep business documents, reports, and records up to date.
- Help organize office activities, events, and internal communication flow.
- Handle data entry, filing, document control, and record management tasks.
- Support employee onboarding and other administrative workflows for new hires.
- Work with vendors, suppliers, and service partners to keep office operations on track.
- Track office supplies and assist with purchasing and inventory planning.
- Contribute to project coordination, reporting, and process-improvement efforts.
- Reply to internal and external queries in a prompt, professional manner.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and administrative standards consistently.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- Good organization and time-management abilities.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with standard office applications.
- Careful attention to detail and solid problem-solving capability.
- Ability to juggle several tasks and priorities at once.
- A constructive attitude and willingness to work well with others.
- Prior exposure to administration, office support, operations, or customer service is helpful but not mandatory.
- Confidence to work on your own and take initiative when appropriate.
