Role Summary
This remote, full-time leadership role is responsible for managing end-to-end operations across North American markets. The position focuses on building and refining operating processes, leading service delivery, and ensuring compliance with both regulatory requirements and internal standards. The role also calls for guiding cross-functional teams, establishing performance goals, tracking operating metrics, and improving both efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with regional leadership and teams across underwriting, claims, finance, and IT to keep operations aligned with business priorities and growth plans. The role includes budget management, allocation of resources, continuous improvement initiatives, and the preparation of regular performance updates and recommendations for senior leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in operations leadership, including improving processes, overseeing service delivery, and applying strong operational practices.
- Advanced analytical capability to study data, generate actionable insights, build dashboards, and support decisions based on evidence.
- Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching teams, managing performance, and building collaborative, high-performing groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and executive reporting.
- Solid budgeting experience covering planning, forecasting, cost control, and allocation of resources.
- Substantial background in insurance, financial services, or another regulated sector, ideally with exposure to North American markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant professional certification is considered an advantage.
- Experience leading remote or distributed teams and operating effectively in a global, multicultural setting.
- Strong problem-solving ability, resilience when working under pressure, and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
