About the Role
We are looking for a night receptionist to join the front office team at a hotel in Durbach, Baden-Württemberg. In this role, you will be the steady point of contact during the evening, overnight, and early morning hours, combining guest service, operational support, and safety awareness. The position is available immediately.
The hotel is an owner-managed 4-star superior property in the Black Forest with a long history dating back to 1656. It describes itself as a place of hospitality, inspiration, and memorable guest experiences, with a team culture built on warmth, creativity, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a professional, friendly, and attentive manner
- Handle check-ins for late arrivals during night shifts
- Serve as the main point of contact for guest requests throughout the shift
- Manage cash carefully and record revenue accurately
- Process and verify cash closing statements
- Carry out the daily closing routine
- Review and control credit card settlements
- Prepare the handover and setup for the following day
- Support general front desk tasks during the shift
- Perform security checks and inspection rounds
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working at a front desk during night shifts is preferred
- Confident use of MS Office
- Familiarity with hotel reservation software, ideally Protel
- Polite and professional interpersonal manners
- Open, communicative, and approachable personality
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Very good German and English skills at C1 level
