Job Overview

As part of a skilled team, you will manage the planning, design, implementation, operation, and support of network infrastructure that ensures secure and reliable connectivity across various locations for organizational applications and digital services. Your role includes delivering network solutions to meet both long-term operational goals and ad-hoc user requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of the organization's network infrastructure, from initial planning and design through implementation and ongoing operation.
• Assess and deploy new network technologies that improve capability, security, and ease of management of network systems.
• Collaborate in business-specific projects by providing network advice and technical assistance during implementation phases.
• Manage network infrastructure projects including procurement, vendor coordination to ensure timely execution, and stakeholder communication through presentations and status reports.
• Administer network devices such as routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryptors, and DHCP servers.
• Address and resolve network-related incidents promptly, keeping stakeholders informed with findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct network monitoring and utilization analysis to present data-driven suggestions for operational improvements.
• Implement firmware and software upgrades in line with change control policies.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in managing and deploying network infrastructure.
• Possession of Cisco certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE is favorable.
• Strong understanding of various network technologies pertinent to LAN, WAN, SDN, and internet routing implementations.
• Experienced in handling contracts and vendor relations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient communication capabilities, able to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
• A dedicated and motivated professional willing to work outside regular hours when needed.
• Knowledgeable about government ICT environments, associated policies, and standards.
• Candidates must be Singapore citizens.
