Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Networking Managed Service Engineer to provide high-level support and maintenance for IT network security operations. The role demands handling Level 2 and 3 network operational issues, ensuring service commitments, and contributing to network performance enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for IT network security operations.
- Respond promptly to incident reports, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements with clients.
- Implement network changes following the organization's Change Management guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies as well as client standards and procedures.
- Generate comprehensive network analysis reports that include detailed findings and interpretations.
- Engage in routine operation review meetings to discuss operational challenges and ticket assessments.
- Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing network operations.
- Facilitate effective transitions from projects to operations post-implementation.
- Conduct internal training sessions and knowledge sharing to elevate team expertise.
- Regularly update operational documentation including technical records and configuration management databases.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience in network operation and administration supporting Cisco devices such as routers, switches, and WLAN systems.
- Possession of a diploma or degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Must hold at least Cisco CCNP certification.
- Strong understanding of network routing, switching technologies, and relevant protocols.
- Familiarity with network security, load balancing, and optimization tools.
- Preferred experience with Cisco networks, Bluecoat Proxy, F5 Load Balancer, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, or Fortinet firewalls, and Splunk monitoring software.
- Required expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
- Capability to effectively collaborate within diverse, multicultural teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Proficient analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
