Job description
Company Overview
Munoth Group is a multi-sector business group recognized for prioritizing quality, dependability, and long-term partnerships. Its approach is rooted in trust and care, and that extends to the way it supports families and domestic service roles. The organization aims to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional setting for both employees and clients, with integrity, accountability, and commitment valued across every position, including caregiving roles.
Role Summary
This full-time, on-site Nanny position is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The role centers on providing attentive, child-focused care tailored to the child’s age and needs. The selected candidate will supervise everyday routines, plan and guide educational and recreational activities, and keep children safe throughout the day.
Key Duties
The nanny will support early childhood growth through structured play, reading sessions, and learning-based activities. The role also includes helping with basic hygiene, meal-time routines, and light cooking for children. Maintaining a neat, organized, and child-friendly environment is part of the job, along with regular communication with parents or guardians about the child’s progress, behavior, and day-to-day needs.
The person in this role is expected to work cooperatively with other household members and respect family instructions, routines, and cultural practices.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have practical childcare and babysitting experience, ideally in a home, daycare, or educational environment. A solid understanding of early childhood development is important, along with the ability to encourage children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. The role also requires the ability to prepare simple, wholesome meals for children and handle basic child-related housekeeping tasks.
Strong patience, empathy, and communication skills are essential when interacting with both children and adults. Reliability, punctuality, and consistency in caregiving routines are also expected. Prior experience as a nanny, daycare assistant, teaching assistant, or in a similar caregiving position will be an advantage. Basic first aid awareness and knowledge of emergency response procedures are beneficial, and formal certification is a plus. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site in Mumbai and flexible enough to adapt to family schedules and changing needs.
