About the Role
Green by Nature is seeking a Mowing Team Leader to oversee the upkeep of large open green spaces for a key client in Canterbury, New South Wales. The position is hands-on and outdoors, with a strong focus on mowing, light horticulture tasks, and maintaining safe, attractive, and professionally presented sites.
This is a role for someone who takes pride in the finished result, enjoys guiding others, and likes having their work visible. With early starts and early finishes, the job offers active days and afternoons free.

What the Role Involves
In this leadership role, you will help manage commercial landscape maintenance for a major client. The work centres on mowing across wide, open areas, along with practical horticulture duties to ensure the sites remain safe, tidy, and maintained to a high standard.
Your working day will be varied and active, with an outdoor focus and mornings that start early enough to leave your afternoons open.
Key Duties
- Organise the day’s workload and guide the crew’s pace
- Carry out mowing and general horticulture work
- Maintain safety standards and quality outcomes across all sites
- Coach and support team members as they build their skills
- Stay in touch with supervisors and clients so operations run smoothly

Additional Requirements
- A Parks and Gardens or Horticulture qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Background in landscape maintenance or park care
