Job Overview
Homestead Land Holdings Limited is seeking a Mobile Cleaner in Kitchener, Ontario. This full-time position involves maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of various property areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and amenities. The role also requires upkeep of garbage and recycling rooms to create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors while adhering to established cleaning procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming tasks.
- Clean and maintain elevators, lounges, laundry rooms, and fitness centers.
- Prepare tenant units for new occupancy by thoroughly cleaning kitchens (including ovens and refrigerators) and bathrooms.
- Carry out winter snow removal duties.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous professional cleaning experience is advantageous.
- Capability to lift objects up to 20 kilograms such as trash bags and cleaning equipment.
- Dependability with strong attention to detail following safe work practices.
- Valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer service abilities.
