Job description

Role Overview

We are hiring a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Payroll Specialist to support payroll and workforce transformation work in Singapore. This position calls for someone with extensive experience in payroll operations, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ERP modernization, with a focus on accurate processing, compliance, and large-scale system change.

Location and Work Mode

The role is based in Singapore, Singapore, and follows a work-from-office arrangement.

What You Will Handle

You will be responsible for leading complex modernization programs that move custom workforce, roster, and payroll capabilities from AX 2012-era processes into Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role involves both functional and technical ownership across payroll, workforce planning, solution design, migration, and deployment readiness.

Workforce and Roster Modernization

  • Lead the transition of custom roster planning tools currently used through spreadsheets, manual processes, and online systems.
  • Set up advanced shift planning and scheduling capabilities in Dynamics 365.
  • Build labour-rule checks and compliance controls into the process.
  • Introduce automated approvals, alerts, and reporting.
  • Enable shift swapping and skill-based scheduling.

Payroll Transformation

  • Guide the migration of the existing Loki payroll setup into Dynamics 365.
  • Support payroll processing that is linked with attendance and roster data.
  • Ensure payroll complies with Hong Kong statutory requirements, including EO, contributions, and related schemes.
  • Validate calculations for fixed salary, overtime, allowances, approvals, and audit tracking.
  • Own parallel-run planning and cutover preparation.

Architecture and Integration

  • Define the end-to-end ERP solution architecture.
  • Bring hands-on experience in greenfield implementation environments.
  • Connect HR, payroll, and workforce modules within Dynamics 365.
  • Use clean-core practices, extensions, and the Power Platform where appropriate.

Transformation Leadership

  • Lead the full AX 2012 to D365 Finance & Operations upgrade and modernization journey.
  • Manage migration of data, configurations, workflows, and custom modules.
  • Promote fit-to-standard adoption while keeping customization controlled and purposeful.

Experience Needed

The position is intended for professionals with 12 to 18 years of experience, including at least 6 to 8 years in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 Finance & Operations and ERP transformation programs.

Core Requirements

  • Strong depth in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Hands-on experience in AX 2012 upgrade and migration initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of payroll compliance, especially in Hong Kong or other Asia-based environments.
  • Knowledge of workforce and roster management solutions.
  • Practical exposure to parallel run and payroll cutover execution.
  • Experience with data migration tools such as DMF and LCS.
  • Experience transforming workflows and custom modules.
  • Strong leadership, delivery ownership, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Additional Information

This is a full-time role with onsite presence required in Singapore. The position emphasizes accurate payroll operations, compliance-driven processes, and large-scale transformation delivery.
