Job description

Role overview

Trusted Home Service Partners (THSP), a Dallas-based portfolio company of Tyree & D’Angelo Partners, is hiring a Merger and Acquisition Analyst to help evaluate acquisition opportunities and support transaction execution. THSP is a private equity-backed platform focused on partnering with small business owners in residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services across the United States. Its goal is to strengthen the experience of homeowners, business partners, and employees through dependable, respectful, and high-quality service.

Tyree & D’Angelo Partners (TDP) is a private equity firm that concentrates on control investments in lower middle-market businesses with approximately $1–5M of EBITDA. The firm emphasizes collaborative, long-term partnerships with founders and management teams, using a buy-and-build approach to create value and reduce risk. TDP invests across consumer, business services, and healthcare sectors and has completed more than 1,000 partnerships, built over $4 billion in enterprise value, and manages more than $1.5 billion in capital.

The analyst will work in a fast-moving, high-growth setting with a motivated team and will have broad exposure to the deal process. This role is ideal for someone who is highly interested in M&A and business development, enjoys working with small business owners, and brings a strong drive to contribute in a collaborative environment.

What you will do

  • Assess and compare potential acquisition targets to determine strategic fit and attractiveness.
  • Build investment materials and review decks for leadership and management discussions.
  • Support due diligence efforts, coordinate outside parties, perform valuation work, and help shape proposals for target companies.
  • Assist in drafting letters of intent, purchase agreements, and related transaction documents alongside senior leaders and board members.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, contribute across functions, and help the team move transactions forward in an entrepreneurial, high-speed environment.

Profile and requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of analyst-level experience in accounting, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or direct lending.
  • Alternatively, 1 to 3 years of analyst-level experience at a leading consulting firm, preferably supporting private equity work in diligence or M&A.
  • Strong quantitative thinking and comfort with data analysis methods and tools.
  • Advanced working ability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and similar reporting or analysis tools.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Self-directed work style with the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and manage several projects at once.
  • Experience in a multi-location, acquisition-led business is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is considered an advantage.
  • Strong interest in continuous learning and development, with enthusiasm for exposure across sourcing, execution, and integration stages of deals.

Compensation

This position offers highly competitive pay made up of a base salary plus an annual performance bonus.
