The role is intended for someone who can use commercial insight to improve performance, guide product planning, and make sure customers can access the products they want at the right time.
Role Summary
In this position, you will help drive the financial performance of the Cosmetics and Impulse range. You will work closely with buyers and other stakeholders to shape assortment plans, manage budgets, track category performance, and improve stock and product lifecycle decisions. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, confidence with data, and the ability to turn analysis into practical actions.
Key Duties
- Work alongside buyers to build assortment plans and keep category expenditure under control.
- Set budgets and assess future plans to support stronger profitability.
- Review product and category performance data to spot opportunities for improvement.
- Improve stock movement and manage product lifecycles to lift return on investment.
- Carry out demand planning and forecasting, including the effect of promotions.
- Convert insights from data into clear strategies and persuasive business stories.
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure goals and plans stay aligned.

You should have a solid understanding of retail and merchandise planning, with a customer-first approach and the ability to interpret data and use it to guide decisions.
