Role overview

As a Membership Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for people considering joining the gym. Your role is to build interest, understand what each person is hoping to achieve, and show how the club can meet their goals.

This position is all about creating the right fit. You will use your friendly personality and approachability to present the club to prospective members, help them explore their options, and guide them toward the membership or services that suit them best.

You may speak with prospects over the phone or welcome them in person for a tour of the club. Part of the job is to learn what each person needs, connect those needs to the facilities available, and recommend products or services that can support their fitness journey.

Village Hotel Club focuses on personality, individuality, and a lively atmosphere. The business operates modern spaces for working, eating, relaxing, playing, and exercising, with locations from Aberdeen to Bournemouth and more sites opening. The expectation is to deliver a service experience that stands out from competitors.

What you will do

  • Speak with prospective members by phone and face to face.
  • Take potential customers on tours of the club and present the facilities confidently.
  • Understand each prospect’s goals, preferences, and time commitments.
  • Recommend the most suitable membership option and explain the value of joining.
  • Suggest relevant products and services that can support members in reaching their fitness targets.
  • Use selling techniques in a service-led way to convert interest into memberships.
  • Work closely with colleagues across leisure and other departments to create a joined-up member experience.
  • Contribute to a positive, energetic, and inclusive workplace culture.

Additional information

This role includes uncapped commission, with a realistic on-target earnings uplift of an additional £4,800 per year.
