Role overview
Quipt Home Medical is a fast-expanding local provider of clinical respiratory and durable medical equipment and services. The company is looking for a driven, energetic, and experienced professional to join its team in a sales-focused role.
In this position, you will work closely with leading physicians in the sleep, cardiac, and respiratory space to help achieve sales objectives while also improving awareness and understanding of the company’s products. The role centers on selling and educating physicians and patients about durable medical equipment, respiratory products, and sleep-related solutions.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s products and services to both existing and prospective customers.
- Create action plans and visit schedules to target key accounts and estimate the number of outreach contacts needed.
- Maintain progress reports covering activity, closed business, follow-ups, and goal attainment.
- Relay product updates, service opportunities, field feedback, and related developments to the appropriate internal teams.
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and reach out to assigned accounts and contacts.
- Build presentations, proposals, and sales agreements.
- Keep sales collateral current and stay informed about product details.
- Develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Take part in marketing activities such as seminars and trade shows.
- Coordinate with internal staff to support deal closure.
- Handle additional duties as needed.
- Be at least 21 years old so company auto insurance coverage can apply, and hold a valid driver’s license.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in sales; prior experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales is required.
- A respiratory therapist degree or license is considered an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
- Background in durable medical equipment, respiratory care, or sleep-related products is a strong plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in medical, clinical, or pharmaceutical sales, or clinical experience as a respiratory therapist in a hospital, facility, or homecare environment.
- Strong fit for candidates with a background in pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, medical services, or medical devices.
- Respiratory or sleep sales experience is highly desirable.
- Professional presentation, a positive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a highly energetic sales personality are essential.
- Must be able to pass a background check after hiring.
