Role Summary
Abmodas Productions is hiring a full-time Media Liaison in Harare. This is an on-site position that involves close coordination with internal teams at the Harare office. The role centers on building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, preparing press materials, supporting public relations activities, and keeping communication clear, consistent, and effective across channels.
Key Duties
The Media Liaison will work with production teams to promote projects, organize press-related activities, and strengthen the company’s presence in the media.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should bring a solid background in media relations and public relations, along with hands-on experience in handling communication with press and media outlets. Experience writing and sharing press releases is important, as is the ability to develop persuasive and well-structured written content. A good grasp of PR strategy and media outreach methods is also needed.
A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required. Applicants should be comfortable working in a creative, fast-moving environment, and should have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and a sharp eye for detail. Prior exposure to entertainment or media production work will be an advantage.
