About the Role

The company is looking for a Mechanical Drafter to join the engineering and drafting team in support of customers and product development. This position provides an opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities over time, share ideas, and help shape how the team operates.

Key Duties

• Review and interpret instructions provided with customer orders.
• Produce general arrangement customer drawings in AutoCAD or Inventor.
• Prepare manufacturing work instructions and complete drawing packages for the production team.
• Assist Manufacturing throughout the build process for the company’s products.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant holds a Manufacturing CAD diploma or an equivalent qualification. Familiarity with AutoCAD or Inventor is considered an advantage, and prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Strong spoken and written English communication skills are important.

Additional value is given to candidates with experience in rotating equipment and/or sheet metal design and manufacturing. A positive mindset, eagerness to learn every day, and a collaborative, caring approach are all important for success in this role.
