Role overview

Ericsson is looking for an Account Manager to support its Enterprise and Mission Critical Networks business in Qatar, working within the Customer Unit Gulf team. In this role, you will report to the KAM for Mission Critical and help expand Ericsson’s presence across priority sectors such as Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, and Defense.

What you will be responsible for

  • Represent Ericsson as a trusted technology and industry leader while strengthening the business and customer base.
  • Drive profitable revenue and build sustainable business in Enterprise and Mission Critical Networks.
  • Partner with the EMEA MCN Business Development expert team to identify and convert short-, medium-, and long-term growth opportunities.
  • Strengthen and develop customer relationships over time.
  • Use go-to-market approaches and competitive commercial strategies effectively.
  • Lead with integrity and deliver strong outcomes for Enterprise and Mission Critical Networks customers through best-in-class solutions.
  • Handle negotiations in both private sector and public procurement environments.
  • Spot opportunities in the market and use them to reinforce Ericsson’s leadership in the targeted verticals.
  • Support achievement of orders booked, net sales, profitability, and cash flow goals, including careful management of working capital.
  • Build a strong understanding of each customer’s business, operations, and goals so solutions can be tailored appropriately.
  • Coordinate sales activity across the Gulf region and ensure alignment with the EMEA MCN Business Development expert team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business plans smoothly and maintain high customer satisfaction.

What makes you a good fit

  • You hold a BSc in Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience.
  • You have a track record of selling into vertical sectors such as Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, and Defense.
  • You bring account management experience in the ICT industry, especially in Mission Critical Networks.
  • You understand the communication needs of sectors including Public Safety, Railways, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Ports, Mining, and Defense.
  • You are skilled at building and sustaining strategic customer relationships.
  • You have strong consultative selling ability and commercial judgment.
  • You have shown success in improving sales performance and meeting profitability targets.
  • You bring strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • You can work effectively across different geographies and cultures.
  • You communicate well, lead effectively, and work collaboratively with others.
  • You are fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
