Role Purpose

The Digital Performance & Brand Governance Executive is tasked with optimizing the bank's digital channels, including its corporate website and social media platforms, by leveraging platform analytics, data, and marketing performance metrics. This role ensures that all digital assets align with commercial objectives, drive increasing engagement, and provide clear insights into the effectiveness of various initiatives. The position requires a blend of technical digital expertise, strong analytical skills, and effective agency management, serving as the primary functional authority on digital channel performance.

Furthermore, this role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the operational infrastructure that supports the broader marketing team's efforts. This includes ensuring consistent application of brand standards across all customer touchpoints, managing relationships with external agencies, and maintaining essential templates and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and operate effectively within established governance and workflow frameworks to guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality output.

Role Responsibilities

Digital & Channel Management

  • Oversee website updates and optimization initiatives, focusing on enhancing user experience (UX) and conversion rates to ensure the site effectively supports current commercial and business objectives.
  • Manage and update web content, including landing pages, news articles, insight pieces, and Investor Relations announcements, utilizing CMS platforms like WordPress and ProcessWire.
  • Play a key role in the ongoing development of the website to maximize its contribution to customer acquisition, engagement, and commercial success.
  • Administer the workflow for company-wide website updates, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient lead generation through established end-to-end processes, including CRM integration.
  • Maintain and update the Corporate Affairs SharePoint hub, housing essential resources such as townhall recordings, templates, guidance documents, and internal materials.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and digital channels using tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics, and various platform dashboards.
  • Deliver insightful recommendations to enhance return on investment (ROI) and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Generate regular performance reports for senior leadership, collaborating with the SVP Marketing Operations to align with the Power BI dashboarding and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework.
  • Track industry benchmarks and identify emerging trends in channel performance, including geographical variations, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Measure and report on the ROI of events and subsequent campaign performance.

Agency & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with external digital agencies, freelance professionals, and technology partners.
  • Provide clear briefs, review, and approve creative and technical deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with brand guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent visual identity and brand adherence across the corporate website, working collaboratively with team members and upholding design standards across all digital properties.
  • Oversee relationships with printers and production suppliers, establishing efficient production workflows and developing local supplier partnerships where beneficial.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with teams across Marketing, Product, Digital, HR, and regional departments to support their needs and ensure they receive effective processes and assets.

Brand Governance & Guidelines

  • Uphold and manage Crown Agents Bank’s brand governance framework, policies, and processes in conjunction with the SVP Marketing Operations.
  • Verify that all marketing and communications materials across the organization comply with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements, acting as a quality control point for brand compliance and escalating any deviations or risks.
  • Collaborate closely with compliance teams to ensure website content and social media posts adhere to established approval and governance protocols.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk departments to guarantee that all communications meet financial promotion and advertising standards.
  • Promote the understanding and adoption of brand standards throughout the organization, including the ongoing development of a comprehensive brand template repository.
  • Maintain and update a library of brand templates, ensuring they are current and easily accessible, and manage digital assets to facilitate efficient reuse and consistent application of brand elements. This includes rolling out updates, providing notifications, offering assistance, and enforcing the use of the latest collateral.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of design assets to serve as a single source of truth for all client types, encompassing principles, rules, style guides, and documentation to ensure consistency, efficiency, scalability, and collaboration.

Review & Approval Processes

  • Establish and manage streamlined workflows for the review and approval of brand materials, including a weekly Brand Clinic.
  • Coordinate workflows across the organization, maintaining visibility on ongoing projects and proactively identifying potential resource or scheduling conflicts.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to both internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to the formulation of the overall digital strategy by providing insights from channel performance and identifying opportunities to enhance client acquisition and engagement.
  • Remain informed about current industry trends, particularly within the banking, fintech, and international payments sectors.
  • Identify and recommend new tools, platforms, or methodologies to improve the efficacy of digital marketing efforts.

Qualifications

A degree-level education or equivalent professional experience is required. A digital marketing qualification, such as those from Google Analytics or CIM, would be advantageous.

Experience

  • Possess 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, channel management, or marketing analytics, preferably within the financial services sector or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics, and social media management platforms.
  • Have hands-on experience managing and updating websites using CMS platforms like WordPress, ProcessWire, or comparable systems.
  • Proven experience in managing external agencies and freelancers, including briefing, reviewing, and approving their work.
  • Exhibit a clear ability to produce concise and actionable performance reports for senior management.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), User Experience (UX) principles, and website conversion optimization techniques.
  • Experience with vendor procurement and invoice management processes is desirable.
  • While not essential, experience in financial services or a regulated industry is preferred.

Additional Information

  • This role operates on a hybrid working model.
  • Employees are eligible for a contributory personal pension plan. The minimum contribution is 2% for employees and 7% for employers, with the employer matching employee contributions in 1% increments up to a maximum of 5% for employees and 10% for employers.
