Job description

Role Overview

DAZN is looking for a Marketing Manager in New York to help shape and deliver the marketing engine behind a new, digital-first sports offering. This role sits at the center of audience growth, with responsibility for connecting with fans and running strong advertising activity across both online and offline channels. You will work alongside colleagues to guide campaign strategy and support go-to-market planning for a brand designed to modernize regional sports viewing for the 2026–2027 basketball and hockey season.

The ideal candidate is a marketing professional who combines analytical thinking with a genuine enthusiasm for sports. This position is primarily based on site in the New York office, with a hybrid working setup.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000.

Key Duties

  • Lead the full lifecycle of major campaigns, from the initial brief through execution and final performance review.
  • Adapt centrally developed creative and media plans for local markets so they stay relevant, culturally appropriate, and aligned with the brand.
  • Partner with the product team to improve the website and app storefront, strengthen merchandising content, and boost landing page results.
  • Use performance insights to keep improving channel efficiency, targeting quality, and overall return on paid, owned, and earned media activity.
  • Work closely with creative, research, product, and commercial teams across regions to improve messaging, placement, and launch timing.
  • Handle budget oversight, forecasting, and regular performance reporting to support best practices and sound decision-making.

What the Role Requires

  • At least 3 years of experience in integrated growth marketing, preferably in sports, media, entertainment, or subscription-led businesses.
  • Experience running broad, large-scale integrated marketing programs.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-channel marketing, including paid media, CRM, SEO/SEM, and social platforms.
  • Comfort working in a data-led environment with a focus on measurable acquisition, engagement, and lifecycle outcomes.
  • Background in a fast-moving subscription, content, or entertainment business is preferred.
  • Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with direct reports and external agency partners.
  • Genuine interest in sport and enthusiasm for the industry; deep hockey or basketball expertise is not required from day one.

Additional Information
