Marketing & Digital Content Associate - Space Technology

As the Marketing & Digital Content Associate, you will report to the Chief of Staff and work side by side with founders, engineers, and leadership. This is a high-visibility position for someone who likes to take initiative, manage varied responsibilities, and help shape a brand from the ground up. Your work will span content creation, social media, branding, communications, events, recruiting support, and special projects, with the goal of translating complex technical work into clear, engaging messaging as the company grows.

Job Duties

• Plan, create, schedule, and share content across social media and other digital marketing channels.
• Record authentic photo and video assets from engineering work, testing, company events, and everyday operations.
• Edit and package short-form video content for use on digital platforms.
• Produce graphics, templates, presentations, and other branded marketing collateral.
• Work with leadership and technical staff to develop ideas, stories, and content directions.
• Assist with company announcements, hiring-related promotions, industry events, and communications activities.
• Track engagement data and prepare simple reports on how content is performing.
• Help preserve a consistent brand tone and visual style across all channels.
• Support marketing campaigns, website content updates, and other growth-related efforts.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives in marketing, operations, recruiting, and broader company development.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, media, or a similar area.
• Capability to independently capture, edit, and publish strong-quality photo and video content.
• Hands-on experience creating content for social and digital platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Well organized and able to juggle several projects and deadlines at the same time.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving startup where priorities can change quickly.
• A proactive mindset with the willingness to learn new tools and skills.
• Careful attention to detail and solid creative problem-solving skills.
• Authentic interest in space, engineering, science, or advanced technology.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using video editing software and creative tools.
• Exposure to graphic design and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of social media analytics and content performance measurement.
• Background supporting brand-building, marketing campaigns, or company communications.
• Familiarity with startups, engineering teams, aerospace, defense, or similar technical industries.
• Experience in photography, videography, or multimedia production.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000.
