Role Overview
The Marketing and Media Specialist will help plan and deliver marketing efforts that strengthen brand recognition, attract new leads, and contribute to business expansion. This position centers on showcasing the company’s 3PL and 2PL warehousing services, transportation offerings, and other value-added logistics solutions through digital channels, social platforms, content development, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and run marketing initiatives that highlight warehousing, transport, and logistics services.
- Oversee the company’s social media presence and keep messaging aligned with the brand.
- Prepare and organize marketing assets such as brochures, presentations, newsletters, and other promotional content.
- Write and develop content for digital channels to raise awareness and encourage audience engagement.
- Work with outside vendors, designers, and agencies when support is needed.
- Assist with lead-generation activities through digital campaigns and email marketing.
- Support cross-selling efforts for transportation and other add-on logistics services.
- Maintain marketing records and customer details in CRM systems.
- Review campaign results and suggest changes to improve performance.
- Research market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Track customer feedback and industry changes to guide marketing decisions.
- Compile regular reports on campaign outcomes, social media activity, and lead generation.
- Monitor important marketing metrics and share insights with management.
- Keep branding consistent across all communication channels.
- Support the planning and delivery of exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events.
- Partner with the sales team on customer-focused presentations and campaigns.
- Help strengthen the company’s presence and reputation in the logistics and supply chain market.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, media, or digital marketing is preferred, ideally in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a similar sector.
- Hands-on experience managing social media channels and digital campaigns is expected.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and marketing-related tools is needed.
- Exposure to graphic design or content creation tools will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical abilities are important for success in this role.
